And finally, we turn the case over to see the bottom panel, which has another screen filter for lower intake which slides out the side for easy cleaning. The case sits on four chrome-finished feet which provide a solid base.

Finally, Cooler Master has revealed its first wireless mouse, the MM831, which it claims has "truly lag-free connectivity." The gaming mouse features a 3360 Pixart optical sensor with up to 32,000 DPI and Omron switches rated for 20M clicks. The MM831 also has hybrid wireless connectivity with 2.4GHz or Bluetooth operation. You can even store a USB dongle under the removable, magnetic top piece. Cooler Master has more announcements in the way of peripherals here, which includes a new mechanical keyboard and two new wired gaming headsets. 

From the front, we see three 6mm heat pipes running through vertically-oriented aluminum fins. That means air blown through Sapphire’s sink is pushed down toward your motherboard and out the top, likely at the side of your case. This isn’t a big deal on a mainstream graphics card, since lower power consumption means there’s less waste heat to dissipate. A thermal solution responsible for cooling almost 300W, however, leaves a lot of warm air to push around. Make sure your chassis is set up for optimal flow.

After bedding the EBC pads in, I found that the initial brake application delivered much more bite, with their stopping power building linearly from there and giving a very precise feel at the lever. At the track, the EBC pads hauled the 790 down from speed with much less lever effort and greater feel – regardless of whether the bike was straight up and down or trail braking to the apex. Overall, I think that $40 for each pair of front pads is money well spent if you’re among the people who felt shortchanged by the stock KTM/J.Juan pads. Although I installed the $37 rear pads, too, I didn’t notice much of a difference in braking power, which is probably due to the way I use the rear brake. I never felt anything lacking from the OEM rear pads.
