In reality, the two engines bifurcate the Continental GT lineup into two distinct experiences: There is the prestigious, effortlessly powerful, and heavier W-12 engine and the sportier, almost scrappy entry-level V-8. Sure, the price difference between them is equal to the cost of a brand-new Hyundai Accent, but does that really matter when it separates identical-looking ultraluxury two-doors that start at $201,225 (Continental GT V-8) and $217,325 (Continental GT W-12)?

St. Peter: An invasion of gnats is presenting a risk to the health and lives of livestock in this southern Minnesota town. The Mankato Free Press reports that gnats cause weight loss and stress for any animal with their bites and by gathering around eyes and in airways. Brooke Knisley, who runs an organic produce farm with her husband in St. Peter, says one of her friends has lost 16 chickens to the gnats this year. Knisley says she’s trying to reduce the risk for her own flock by running fans in the chicken coop, hanging fly strips and placing vanilla-soaked rags near where the gnats congregate. Gnats are also an irritant for cattle and horses, and many owners are keeping their animals inside until the invasion passes.

They’re well-cushioned, but a bit spongy on the ends when loading the bike in turns. Thankfully, Pivot includes bar plugs so you can swap to your favourite grips instead.

Android A fast, smart mobile browser based on WebKit. It tackles most sites with (almost) unrivaled grace and speed. Panning and zooming could be smoother and more responsive, but with a ton of options for getting around a page—various touch methods and the trackball—few sites will be challenging to zip around. The only thing we really miss is multitouch for zoom. Buttons just aren’t a very elegant or precise solution, and while the whole-page magnifying glass technique is nice, we’d love something a bit more refined. Overall though, we’re happy campers on Android’s browser. Grade: B+

Bentley’s Continental GT remains a chubby piece, but every 2020 model’s husky-size clothing is now entirely aluminum versus the old version’s predominantly steel skin. That saves about 170 pounds regardless of engine choice. Bentley also extended the two-door’s wheelbase 4.1 inches while holding the overall length the same, a move that allowed it to relocate the engine lower and farther back in the chassis. As before, the eight-cylinder models remain the lightest; skipping the big, complex W-12 engine and other standard equipment that comes with it saves 175 pounds, according to Bentley.

“The thing we have at Penfield, when we built that track, we used some dirt that we found by Penfield, and it is really, really nice for a pulling track. It wasn’t very good to grow crops on, but it works great for a pulling track,” Buhr said.

“We like to accent and add to the hardscapes the outdoor living environments that we create,” Swartzell says. “So it’s putting lighting in for steps or safety or some spotlights on to highlight plantings.”
