The defect: the 2019 Ford Ranger recall says that the improperly torqued fasteners could allow the shift cable bracket to come loose, allowing the transmission to be in a gear other than that indicated by the shift lever. This could allow the driver to remove the ignition key with no instrument panel warning or chime indicating that the vehicle isn’t in park.
Since this mix of components hasn’t been used in a case review at the site before – and I’ve been out of the enclosure testing game for a while now – I’ll offer just a brief look at what this particular set of components did within the case after our build was finished. Subjectively I will say that the 680X RGB is a very quiet case mainly due to the fact that those three included front fans are very low-noise, spinning around 500 RPM most of the time when connected via PWM and the motherboard’s "standard" fan profile. It goes without saying that the included fans will make a big difference in a case’s measured noise levels, with CPU and GPU load noise primarily dependent on the components selected.

A console-mounted driving-mode selector is new. The old Continental V8′s Sport mode was activated by moving the shift lever from Drive to S. Now there is the choice of Comfort, Sport, in-between B (for Bentley), and a driver-configurable Custom mode that can change the suspension, driveline, and exhaust parameters, although the influence on the suspension is not really noticeable. In Sport, up to 83 percent of torque can be directed to the rear tires, helpful for kicking the tail of this big Bentley out midcorner (a 40/60 front/rear split is the default), while the engine is allowed to bellow gloriously.
Drilling holes in bumpers not only drives down resale value. New safety technology (think sensors and cameras that help prevent accidents) is built into a car’s bumpers.
As Shimano’s flagship mountain-bike drivetrain line, XTR is strong, light, and certainly not cheap. If you absolutely must have the best, it’s hard to argue with its impeccable performance. But if you’re like me and care about not paying out the nose just to shave a few grams from your bike, it’s better to invest in the latest XT group.

The result is a shape across the entire range, that achieves complete harmony between rider and bike. The main goal was to provide the optimal contact points that allow a rider maximum freedom of movement and improved handling. The front and rear fenders feature an intelligent I-beam design, guaranteeing maximum stability with the lowest possible weight. A new tail light design fits perfectly to the new shape of the rear fender and the number plate carrier. The new in-mold graphics confirm the high-performance intentions of this bike, as well as KTM’s never-ending quest for race-winning progression.
Sioux City: A company that’s been fined thousands of dollars for the stink coming from its plant has lost its lawsuit targeting the city’s odor ordinance. The Sioux City Journal reports Judge Leonard Strand of the U.S. District Court in Sioux City granted the city of Sibley’s motion for a summary judgment. Strand disagreed with Iowa Drying & Processing’s contention that the ordinance was unconstitutionally vague. Iowa Drying & Processing had said the city’s enforcement unfairly targeted the company and interfered with its efforts to sell the plant, which had drawn residents’ complaints for years. One resident, Josh Harms, sued Sibley after city officials threatened legal action against him for saying on a website that Sibley smelled like “rancid dog food.” Strand ruled against the city in Harms’ case.
“The manufacturers are definitely a big help with understanding how to use and work all the new technology,” says Ty Rosser, lighting designer at Landscape Lighting Pro of Utah. “I’m never afraid to pick up the phone (to ask them) questions.”
25. While the contacts look used, they do not appear to be welded together. I have no explanation as to what caused the failure.
